P.S. Did you know they have special hospital gowns that work similarly to the old bonnet-style hairdryers? You stick in a hose and warm air flows over your cold arse! I need that to beat the chill this winter...

At one point it was making me cold. And when I had to go to the bathroom (from that IV) it was just one more thing to unplug. But for patients who are cold in nature it was a fabulous idea. If I had been there longer I may have gotten more use out of it.

but are they noisy? maybe that white noise for sleeping.
You would think so, but it certainly wasn't louder than say, the normal sound of air coming out of a vent. Now, this was during the day... maybe at night time it would be totally annoying
